The role of the Strategic Sourcing Manager is to support the objectives of global & regional sourcing strategy. Key Responsibilities Jointly accountable with Business Unit, for delivery of sourcing projects that meets the specific needs in cost, quality, and product performance targets. Accountable for sourcing and developing the textiles that is aligned with global sourcing strategy. Defines jointly with the sourcing director, the sourcing strategy to meet marketing strategies and global business objectives Build Supplier base to global level, with main focus in Asia Jointly responsible for activities relating to scouting vendor capabilities, innovation, cost reduction initiatives within this region. Jointly responsible for new vendor selection process. Requirements · Degree in Business, supply chain operation, textile or equivelant · Minimum 5~10 years relevant work experience in textile sourcing/Procument · Must be able to communicate fluently in English and Mandarin. Good command of written English and Chinese. · Working knowledge of supply chain management · Knowledge in ERP systems · Skilled negotiator, problem solving, Strategic thinking · Demonstrated ability to develop relationships and influence successful outcomes. · Ability to apply clear analytical thinking to complex issues, develop and implement solutions. · Proven ability to make decisions utilizing good judgement |
